Happy Halloween to All

Trick-or-treating was actually held on Halloween this year around here, which was nice for a change. What's with cities deciding that trick-or-treating should be on nights other than Halloween, before dark, and with people sitting out on their front porches? It's just gotten way too tame. We remember being kids and walking up long sidewalks to houses with people hiding in the bushes to scare us, scary music, and you'd knock on the door, never knowing who would open it or jump out. We say we should go back to more adrenaline kickers with all the sugar!
