  • 25 December 2001- Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah from the YEI Staff. We wish you success and rewards, especially with your family and friends, in the New Year.
  • 25 November 2001- Three YEI staff members once again made the trek to Baltimore this Thanksgiving to participate in the North American Table Tennis Teams Tournament. Team YEI was represented at both a high level of play with "Quad Damage" and at the beginner level with "Operation 1K." Congratulations on some hard-fought matches, and we hope you all move up in the ratings!
  • 19 August 2001- If you haven't already taken your summer vacation, hurry up! September is right around the corner, and the country is beautiful. Get out there and see it. Climb a mountain. Raft a river. Explore a cave. Get out of your office, leave the laptop, pager and cell phone behind, and go do something amazing.
  • 23 July 2001- Miss Eudora Welty died today at age 92. She was known for her short stories and among many recognitions was a 1973 Pulitzer Prize for her novel, "The Optimist's Daughter." The email program, Eudora, was named after Miss Welty by its designer, Steven Dorner, because he admired her story "Why I Live at the P.O." Come on, go find a copy and read it. You know you want to.
  • 4 July 2001- Celebrate Independence Day today. And while you're thinking about freedom, visit the Electonic Frontier Foundation. Find out what's going on in the realm of technology, freedom of speech, and privacy. They do good work that affects all of us, so send them a few bucks too.
  • 26 June 2001- The ultimate fashion page...well, at least it is if you really like duct tape. Quite frankly, we're impressed. Untangling Saran Wrap can be difficult enough, so just imagine creating an entire wardrobe out of duct tape! Throw away your needle and thread and start taping at Jim & Tim's Duct Tape Fashion page.
  • 15 April 2001- Uh-oh! Taxes are due! This year you have one extra day (until Monday, April 16th) to get those returns mailed on time.
  • 6 April 2001- The new Yost Engineering homepage is now up! Our staff has completely redesigned this site to provide more information and easier navigation. We invite you to browse the new pages, and send us your feedback and suggestions.
  • 5 March 2001- Go USATT Juniors! Yost Engineering is a proud supporter of the USA Table Tennis Juniors, and congratulates Mark Hazinski on making the National Team. Visit USATT at www.usatt.org.
  • 27 February 2001- Our programmers reported that Claude E. Shannon died today. Claude Shannon was known as the "Father of Information Theory" and is one of the last century's true geniuses. It is with great sadness that we ( programmers ) report his passing, at the senseless age of 85.
  • 1 January 2001- Happy New Year! Send us fireworks!
